Many healthcare professions are included on the Tier 1 Green List such as GPs, registered nurses, midwives, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, and radiologists. If offered a job in one of these eligible roles, you can apply for residency before you even arrive.

If your qualifications did not require English testing (for example, from the UK, Australia, Canada, or the US), you may qualify for a waiver. Otherwise, English proficiency—demonstrated via tests like OET or IELTS is required to register.
