Prospero Health & Social Care are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced MIT to lead the Interventional/Cath Lab team in the Nelson region.
We have a permanent full-time role available within a supportive, fast-paced environment, offering exposure to a wide variety of interventional cases.
Permanent full-time position (1.0 FTE, 80 hours per fortnight)
Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday with on-call responsibilities
Support from a collaborative multidisciplinary team
Opportunities to strengthen and expand your clinical and leadership expertise
Work with cutting-edge imaging technology including Siemens Artis Zee and a new Cath Lab
Interventional and Cath Lab procedures, including angiography, EVAR, PCI, and pacemaker insertions
Leading and supervising a team of MITs
Operating imaging tools such as IVUS and OCT
Participating in a 24/7 STEMI and interventional radiology on-call roster
Collaborating with radiologists, cardiologists, nurses, and administrative staff
Registered with the NZMRT Board and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate
Minimum 3 years’ MIT experience, including leadership or supervisory experience
Extensive technical expertise in Interventional/Cath Lab imaging
Strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills
Committed to providing high standards of patient care
Eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa
