The role & responsibilities:

As a Sonographer, you will provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services, ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their experience. This role includes:

  • Performing a range of ultrasound examinations, primarily abdominal, renal, pelvic, small parts, obstetric, and musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging
  • Preparing patients for procedures and maintaining their comfort and care throughout
  • Collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team, including on-site Radiologists
  • Conducting imaging analysis and upholding quality assurance standards

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (NZMRTB) and a current APC (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Have full working rights in New Zealand
  • Possess at least 2 years of post-graduate experience as a Sonographer
  • Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional patient care and achieving the best outcomes
  • Have experience in MSK Ultrasound (preferred)
