Senior Registered Nurse / Care Manager - North Island
About the Role
We are working with well-established aged care providers seeking an experienced Registered Nurse ready to step into a Senior RN or Care Manager position.
This is not an entry-level RN role. We are specifically looking for someone confident in leading shifts, supporting junior staff, and contributing to the clinical and operational running of the facility.
About You
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
Current NZ Nursing Council registration (registration must be in hand)
Minimum 3+ years’ post-registration experience
Previous New Zealand healthcare experience (highly preferred)
Recent experience within aged care or a comparable clinical setting
Proven ability to lead shifts and support care staff
Strong understanding of clinical governance, documentation, and compliance
Confident communicator with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Willingness to commit to a stable, long-term role
Highly Regarded
Experience with interRAI
Exposure to dementia-level care
Previous senior or acting leadership responsibilities
