These non-training Psychiatry Registrar positions offer broad clinical exposure across adult, child and adolescent, and older adult psychiatry. You will:
Inpatient and Outpatient Care: Manage a variety of psychiatric cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings under supervision.
Crisis Intervention: Participate in acute care and crisis response, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Engage with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Professional Development: Access ongoing education and support to strengthen your skills and experience in psychiatry.
Medical Registration: Current full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Experience: PGY3+ with registrar-level experience in psychiatry (or equivalent).
Commitment: Dedication to psychiatry as a specialty and enthusiasm for contributing to high-quality patient care.
