We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a growing, high-performing private clinic in the Bay of Plenty. This role offers flexible working arrangements, including full-time or part-time hours, in-clinic and remote consultations.
The clinic is nationally recognised for its focus on neurodiversity, supporting children and adolescents (ages 5–16) and their families from assessment through ongoing care. You will play a key role in ADHD and ASD assessments and treatment.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct child and adolescent psychiatric assessments and consultations
Deliver ADHD and ASD diagnoses confidently and sensitively
Prepare comprehensive assessment reports
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, therapists, and specialist clinicians

Candidate requirements:
Vocational registration as a Psychiatrist with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligibility for registration
Fellowship of RANZCP (or equivalent) required
Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly with neurodivergent patients
Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Role flexibility:
Options from 1–4 days per week
Contract, part-time, or locum arrangements considered
