Prospero Health & Social Care are excited to be recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join the Child Development Service in the beautiful Nelson region.

Fixed-term part-time position (0.5 FTE, 40 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday)
Work across community and outpatient settings
Support from a collaborative multidisciplinary team
Opportunities to strengthen and expand your paediatric clinical expertise
Exposure to a wide range of paediatric neuro-developmental conditions, developmental delay, sensory issues, and functional challenges
Paediatrics, with post-registration clinical experience highly desirable
Working with children with neuro-developmental disorders, developmental delay, sensory processing challenges, and functional difficulties
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and other health and disability services
Building rapport with children and their whānau
NZ-registered Occupational Therapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate and Enable Assessor accreditation
Passionate about paediatric practice and delivering child- and family-centred care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful to meet changing service needs
Committed to professional development and adhering to best practice
Eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa
