We're recruiting an Orthoptist to join a well-established eye care team in Auckland.

Key responsibilities
• Carry out orthoptic assessments for adult and paediatric patients
• Assess and manage eye movement and binocular vision disorders
• Perform visual function and diagnostic testing
• Support patients throughout their treatment journey
• Provide education and advice to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate clinical records
• Work closely with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals
• Contribute to a high standard of patient care and service delivery
About you
• Hold Professional Orthoptic qualifications e.g. Bachelor of Science in Orthoptics: BSc (Orth), BMedSci (Orth) and/or Diploma in British Orthoptics(DBO) or a Bachelor's of Health Science or related with certification or membership as a professional Orthoptist
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoy working with patients of all ages
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Are committed to delivering exceptional patient care
