About the Role
As the Clinical Nurse Specialist, you'll work closely with the clinical leadership team to provide expert clinical guidance, support best practice and help ensure the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.
You'll play an important role in mentoring nursing staff, promoting continuous improvement and contributing to positive outcomes for residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical leadership and support to the nursing team.
Champion evidence-based practice and high-quality resident care.
Mentor, coach and develop Registered Nurses and care staff.
Support clinical governance, quality improvement and audit activities.
Assist with care planning, complex clinical assessments and case management.
Ensure compliance with New Zealand health, aged care and regulatory standards.
Foster positive relationships with residents, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
Previous experience within aged care or a comparable clinical environment.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
A passion for mentoring and supporting others.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
A proactive, collaborative approach to leadership.
A commitment to delivering exceptional resident-centred care.
