Southern Cross Healthcare in Christchurch is looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Leader to take a senior role within their high-performing theatre team.
This position is ideal for a skilled and confident theatre nurse with proven leadership ability and extensive experience in orthopaedic and/or spinal surgery. You’ll be stepping into a positive, fast-paced, and people-focused environment where quality patient care and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.
✅ NZ Registered Nurse with current APC
✅ Minimum 5 years of post-registration theatre experience
✅ At least 2 years' experience in orthopaedic or spinal surgery (essential)
✅ Proven leadership and team support capabilities
✅ Postgraduate qualification (or currently working towards)
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Comfortable using clinical systems and tech
💰 $49–$66 per hour, depending on experience
🕒 No nights – Monday to Friday business hours only
