O & G Consultant Permanent Vacancy

This hospitals is nestled on the North Island, and I am looking to have conversations with overseas or locally based O & G Doctors who are wanting a remarkable place to live and work.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive O & G care to women of all ages, ensuring the highest standards of medical practice.
  2. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to develop accurate diagnoses.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their unique medical conditions, preferences, and overall well-being.
  4. Perform a wide range of O & G procedures, such as prenatal care, antenatal screening, deliveries, cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and fertility treatments.
  5. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, midwives, anesthetists, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  6. Actively engage in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

Requirements:

  1. Medical degree and registration as an Obstetrician and Gynecologists’ in New Zealand (or eligibility for registration).
  2. Eligibility to work in New Zealand
