Facility Manager- Aged Care

Prospero Health and Social Care have the privilege of working alongside a leading Aged Care provider of Aged Care Services in New Zealand. This nationwide provider, pride themselves in providing holistic care of the elderly, that is based on the individual needs of those within their care.

The opportunity:

We are currently recruiting for 3 Facility Managers, two in Canterbury and one in Northland.

Successful applicants will:

Supervise, lead, and support Clinical and non-Clinical Staff,  whilst managing the day to day operations, including the financial and budgeting aspects of the Facility.

Skills and Experience:

• Registered Nurse with experience working within Aged Care in NZ with current APC
• 3 + years’ experience working within Residential Aged Care setting in a leadership role
• Sound knowledge and experience working with dementia patients – two of these facilities have Psychogeriatric Units
• Sound knowledge of the NZ Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
• Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills
• Previous Financial Management and Budgeting experience
• Enthusiasm, drive, and a desire to be successful in this role
• A passion for Aged Care and a desire to make a difference to the lives of Residents and families
