Position Overview: Are you a seasoned nurse looking to elevate your career in a nurturing and fast-paced environment? Our leading Private Hospital is on the hunt for an accomplished Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Oncology Ward or the Medical ward. This is an opportunity to join a supportive team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical operations within the Ward, ensuring alignment with our quality standards and overall strategic goals.
• Supervise nursing care delivery, implementing evidence-based practices for optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage the unit’s daily operations, including the stewardship of human, financial, and material resources.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• At least 3 years of experience at the Nurse Unit Manager level or equivalent.
• Understanding of ACSQHC National Standards.
• Passion for management and career development.
• Proficient with MS Office and relevant databases.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational capabilities.
• Knowledge of labour management principles.
• Demonstrated experience in human resource management.
